Made for the Secret Santa Jam 2020

For this jam, each participant writes a letter to Santa, and then receives a letter from a giftee. My giftee unfortunately dropped out midway through the jam but I decided to take on a new one! Here's the letter that inspired this game:

I hope we made a nice game for my giftee and that he enjoys playing it! 💖

This is the first time that we participated in a jam without a dedicated programmer, so we couldn't do anything too complicated. We decided to use Ren'Py and create a visual novel because we were already a little familiar with Twine. The Python syntax gave us a few headaches throughout the jam, but we learned a lot and ultimately had a good time!

This is sooo adorable, especially the end<33 The music at the scary log and at Zip were such a vibe and the faceoff with Hoppy was so funny!!

that was really cute <3

This was a simple, but cute visual novel! Loved the character designs and the writing carried the game well. All the text effects added some flavor to the scenes as well. The music was pretty poppin' as well! It was overall a very wholesome experience and fun time! I hope your giftee enjoyed it as much as I did! Keep up the great work.
